Dan's Statement on the MPRP Project
I want to be absolutely clear: I am against the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project.
It lacks transparency, it shuts out the very people it affects, and PSEG has not proven that this 67-mile transmission line will serve the very people whose property is continuously being impacted. That is not responsible governance, and it is not how decisions should be made in this state. Data centers are part of our economic reality, but Maryland deserves a system that is transparent, accountable, and centered on the people who live here. At the end of the day, this is about real people and real communities. I care about what happens here, and I care about the families who were left out of the conversation. I am committed to being part of the continued fight against the MPRP, as well as to ensuring legislation is passed that ensures this situation never repeats itself. Our community deserves a voice, and I'm here to be that voice.
